A Complete Package
Ashlar House is occasionally available for short term vacation rentals. Your booking entitles you to the exclusive use of 3,000 square feet of living space as well as the surrounding 10 acres of wooded property with walking trails, a stream and a fully fenced in-ground pool.
Ashlar House is an ideal country retreat for couples, or families with up to 10 guests. If you love to cook or need to a break from the kitchen, you’ll find mealtimes equally easy at Ashlar House. You can:
- bring your own food to prepare in Ashlar House’s gourmet farmhouse kitchen,
- ask us to stock the fridge with groceries for you, and/or
- choose from a wide range of freshly prepared dishes (heat-and-serve, or prepared on-site) from our exclusive local caterer, What’s Cookin’.
We make clean-up a breeze too. Ashlar House offers second-story laundry facilities as well as housekeeping options. Discounts apply for multiple weeks when no cleaning service is required.

Situated in one of Ontario’s lushest Greenbelts, the Hills of Headwaters boasts extensive hiking trails and conservation areas, fishing and boating, horseback riding, downhill and cross-country skiing, bountiful farmers’ markets, casual country fairs, renowned local artisans, culinary and music fests, luxurious spas, boutiques, and antique markets. We’ve also got one of the best spring-time Maple Syrup experiences and scenic Fall Drives around!
